Commonwealth v. G.H.

CASE: The client was charged with Carrying a Firearm, Third Offense, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Susequent Offense, Armed Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery with a Firearm, Possession of a Class B Substance, Subsequent Offense and Distribution of a Class B substance, Subsequent Offense. The client was alleged to have shot a Boston Police Officer when the Officer approached the client on a January morning.

RESULT: The jury found the client not guilty of all charges related to the shooting of the officer and the drug charges. The client was solely convicted for possessing a firearm.


Commonwealth v. R.C.

CASE: The client was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance, Subsequent Offense, and Possession of a Class A Substance. During a Motion to Suppress, Attorney Tripp convinced the Court that the stop and subsequent search of the client was unlawful.

RESULT: The Commonwealth filed a nolle prosequi.


Commonwealth v. K.T.

CASE: The client was charged with Armed Assault with Intent to Murder in a shooting that occurred in Roxbury. The client was identified by eight Boston Police Officers who viewed a still shot taken from a video in the area and declared the person in the video was the client. Attorney Tripp was able to pull footage from an apartment complex in Brighton, showing the client was not in Roxbury at the time of the shooting.

RESULT: The Commonwealth filed a nolle prosequi.


Commonwealth v. B.P.

CASE: The client was charged with Carrying a Firearm, Second Offense, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with a Defaced Serial Number and Resisting Arrest. During trial, Attorney Tripp was able to point out the discrepancies in the officer’s version of events on the evening in question. The jury found the client not guilty on all counts.

RESULT: The jury found the client not guilty on all counts.


Commonwealth v. C.C.

CASE: The client was charged with Carrying a Firearm, Second Offense, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of Ammunition and Carrying a Loaded Firearm. During trial, Attorney Tripp was able to show the weakness in the Commonwealth’s case, and the case did not go to the jury.

RESULT: The Judge allowed the Motion for a Required Finding of Not Guilty.
